Currently, the only type is “Bezier”, but it is also possible to draw linear splines. Please take a look at “Drawing Splines” under → “Quick Start Workflows - Drawing and Editing Splines”the → “Drawing” page.

A click on this button enables the spline's “EDIT” mode – indicated by a yellow frame around the viewport. To move a control point or tangent handle, please hit the W key. Please read the → “Quick Start Workflows - Drawing and Editing Splines" chapter to learn how to work with splines→ "Spline Techniques" chapters for more information.
@ CP handle smoothness
With “Smooth” both tangents are affected while moving a single handle. When you switch to “Broken” the tangents can be edited separately.
