This section contains everything that has to do with a node's orientation in the viewport and its simulation states.
Simulation
- With “Active” → “Active” a node will be able contribute to the simulation.
- An “Inactive” → “Inactive” node appears dimmed and is disabled.
- The “Cache” → “Cache” mode allows you to read already-simulated elements and use them for further interactions without re-simulating them, e.g. in other scenes.

Here you can specify a node's viewport colour. A click on the colour field opens your operating system's colour browser, a click on “+” shows → RGBA/HSV sliders.
Notes
It is possible to add node-specific notes here. Simply enter or copy/paste the text. With “+” you can expand the text field.
