If your network is split into workgroups it is possible to utilize them for RealFlow network simulations.

Name

The workgroup's name.

Members

Here you can see the machines within a workgroup.

Max Jobs

How many of the workgroup's computers will be used for simulation tasks.

Status

General information about the workgroup and its members.

Icons

Edit Workgroup

When you click on this icon you will see a new page (see below) where you can configure a workgroup.

Add Workgroup

If you want to add a workgroup and its members manually please click on this icon. A new configuration window appears (see below).

Edit Workgroup | Add Workgroup

Both pages/dialogues share exactly the same parameters and options.

Name

Here you can enter any valid name of an existing workgroup. Workgroup names do not allow blanks or special characters. Recursive workgroups are not allowed.

Nodes

Inside this multi-option field you can see a workgroup's available members.

Workgroups

This multi-option field contains the network's workgroups.

Maximum

Specify how many machines of a workgroup should be able to simulate RealFlow jobs:

  • With 0, all licensed nodes will be taken into account.
  • When a workgroup reaches its maximum amount of running jobs the rest of its nodes will be disabled.
Enabled

Here you make sure that the current workgroup and its nodes can be used for simulations:

  • Disabling a workgroup turns off all nodes belonging to it recursively.
  • A workgroup cannot be disabled while any of its nodes is simulating.
Reset

Restores the previous settings

Submit

A click on this button passes your settings to the manager. You will probably have to press “Reload” in the web-interface to make the changes visible.
