RLM is widely spread and many applications use it for licensing.

- OS X:
/Users/Shared/NextLimit/rlm_nl
- Windows:
C:\Program Files\Next Limit\RealFlow Cinema4D 1
For a complete installation and configuration guide please go to:
Using An Existing RLM
To check if there is a RLM server running on your machine, open a browser and enter the following address: ip_of_the_computer_with_rlm:5054
For example 192.168.2.2:5054
(example - use the actual IP of your computer!)
- In this case, look for the installation directory of the already installed RLM. Then, the license file and the “nextlimit.set” file must be copied to the RLM's directory. Restart.
- The “nextlimit.set” file comes bundled with the RealFlow | Cinema 4D installer
OS X:/Users/Shared/NextLimit/rlm_nl/nextlimit.set
Windows:C:\Program Files\Next Limit\RealFlow Cinema4D 1
Binding RealFlow's RLM to Another Port
5053 is the RLM's default port. If you are using a RLM-licensed software already then port 5053 is in use. The solution is to edit your license file, where you will find a line indicating the used port, for examplesomething like
HOST localhost xxxxxxxxxxx 5053
